It's basically just a reaction/foreshadowing chapter. And I agree, it can be confusing since I wrote these separately over the week. Lemme tell ya, don't write while sick, because you'll end up with more garbage than actual story.

In the game, there are speculations that Miquella is at waist height of Malenia at full growth(His 5~6ft to her 9ft) but in this ff, they are not only still adolescents but MC also has slowed aging. (Sorry for the extra, thought of this bit after the first comment.)

Thanks for the chapter! Although I do find it odd the they both already reached such a height at the age of fourteen. Malenia aside, Miquella not being a shota is easy to accept but being 6'2(188.2cm) at that age despite apparent wish to slow aging? Even Eraserhead is a solid 6ft(182cm) and the tallest canonical student of 1A is sitting at 187cm. Sorry for the short rant because it just irked me but this is a genuinely interesting ff and you're doing well.

That's cause it's Halloween! His more Youkai than usual which means less empathy for humans.
