"Ha, you caught me! I guess all that time spent on Grammarly is showing. 😅 English is my second language, so I’m trying my best to sound polished—maybe too polished? I’ll work on keeping it more natural. Thanks for the feedback and for reading!"
Appreciate your input! I’ll definitely take that into account but approach it in a slightly different way to keep things fresh. A little teaser: betrayal is definitely on the horizon, but I’ll leave the details for the story to reveal. As for the relationships, no harem—completely agree it wouldn’t fit the tone. Instead, the focus will be on more grounded dynamics: fleeting romances, dating, marriage, perhaps even divorce, all tied into the chaos and glamour of Hollywood life. The spotlight will stay firmly on the Hollywood aspect of the story, with all its drama, ambition, and cutthroat betrayals. Thanks for the feedback!
Thank you for the feedback! I see what you mean now. In my fanfiction, the main character, Jack Morris, isn't famous for voice acting, but rather because his father owns Crown Film Studio. Jack already has a well-established reputation, particularly among industry professionals, and has built a significant fanbase, especially with female fans, due to his status as a supermodel and a well-known figure. I’m still learning and improving my skills, especially since English is my second language, but I’m excited to continue developing my fanfic for fun and to improve with each new project!
Thank you for your insightful comment! You raise a valid point—there are certainly moments where a voice actor’s performance significantly enhances a film, as seen with Keanu Reeves voicing Shadow in Sonic 3. Strong characterization and thoughtful casting undeniably play a crucial role in fostering a deeper connection with the audience.
Thank you for your input! It’s true that for films like Aladdin, the focus is often on the character, not the voice actor, especially with younger audiences. However, in certain films like Sonic 3, casting major actors like Keanu Reeves can generate significant excitement due to their fan base. While Toy Story and Finding Nemo rely on strong storytelling, the voice performances of Tom Hanks as Woody or Ellen DeGeneres as Dory leave a lasting impact, even if not always consciously noticed. In the end, it’s a balance of characterization, storytelling, and casting that influences how much the voice actor matters. Thanks again for the great discussion! What are your thoughts on how voice actors influence a character’s appeal?
