Ryan died. He died in the unfortunate event of getting caught up in another person's assassination attempt. Ultimately transmigrating into his sister's trashy, dark, edgy novel. Ryan took over the body of the same person who constantly stood in the protagonist's way, despised by the world as the ultimate villain. And the very antagonist who annihilated the protagonist, and died soon after. Looking back at the original body owner's tragic ending, Ryan decided to do the bare minimum to ensure the world he now lives in doesn't fall apart. "Saving humanity is the least of my concerns." He closed his eyes. Something wasn’t quite right about this whole situation, and the characters acting weirdly was just the start of it all.
