Warning: Minor Spoilers Big hint before you read, take the 'tragedy' tag seriously. Not just the background of the MC but the events in the story go from 0 to 100 very quick. Like I thought I was reading a romance, bit of comedy and action novel until author pulls a JJK on us and kills off half the main cast over the span of a couple of chapters. I liked Oliver man. The story itself is good, but I didn't read the dang tags and I hate tragedy, got me bawling fr. (Only gave it a 1 star review cuz no-one reads 3 star ones and this info is pretty good to know)

Nah I'm dropping. MC is insufferable and I'm not waiting hundreds of chapters for the 'character development' that is showing no signs of starting over 30 chapters in. The system's personality is even worse, it seems more like it's an antagonist than a helper. Plot is randomly distributed, he'll be mid one chapter than OP the next. The only characters are the MC and his system (Not counting the brief appearances of his Dad or the yin and yang energies). He gets too OP to where it's not even satisfying anymore and he gets exactly what he needs from a 'random' draw. I don't care if it 'gets better' or will be explained in future chapters, those promises brought me this far and this far only. I really do hope that it does get better as I like the names of the techniques and the framework of the cultivation levels, but I won't be staying to find out.

Nah but how could he have guessed that the system would randomly nerf him? Wouldn't be surprised if the system turns out to be the antagonist at this rate

😐 Yeah cuz most ppl would give up permanent barriers, growth-type weapons and a beast egg of unknown potential for some random pills and armours he can just get from daily sign ins. Just quickly use all of the consumable items you can before the 5 mins runs out and you won't even need to sacrifice as much
