Sigh again another good novel yet ruined by the MC’s personality. Apparently a whole grown man acts like a manchild. Gets “red faced” approaching probably younger women than him. This is getting cringier and cringier with chapters. I expected a more cold, calculative, ruthless approach not some “Lost child depressive stupidity” approach
Btw are u plan on adding romance in this? Even if u do i hope u dont do that “Face being red/hot bs”, or that dense protagnist persona. The Mc is supposed to be THE HEAVENLY EMPEROR meaning that he should be an experienced and old man. I don’t wish to see naive, immature actions but rather more calculative, ruthless MC We don’t want to see the “Heavens son” but someone who will do anything for the revenge as well as power.
I feel weird writing this idk how to explain it. I left this novel for months now so that I would read it at a later time with tons of chapters. Now that ended it feels weird
An unexpected yet sad chapter this was
I don’t understand,Will she ever grow a brain in this rate? Or will she die believing in her “beliefs” at the end. With the trajectory she is going in she is bound to be eliminated.
Yep,I didn’t like that initial reunion at first. It felt like he needed to be “worthy” of being her husband and all that bs. At some point I thought she never loved Ryu as much he did, but now it’s finally on the track.
See this from both of their perspectives. Unlike Ailsa Ryu never saw her “cultivation” as a thing that should matter between a husband and a wife meanwhile same can’t be said true vice versa. This only shows that Ryu truly loves his wife will all his heart regardless of any other factors but it is not getting reciprocated
Then where is the so called “love” then? Doesn’t that mean that Ryu is the only one who truly loves his wife meanwhile his wife would simply abandon him since he is “weak”?
There’s differences here. Nadia had the power to flee from there and perhaps take Lucas along with here but she didn’t. She has the power to kill Jiang with ease but she didn’t. But instead of leaving she willingly chose this. If she had truly loved Lucas she would had left long ago
U are just judging it too fast. The new chapters are absolute masterpieces. It’s just that it has a slow building but it definitely is worth the wait.
