I'm not saying they shouldn't hate him and it shouldn't have any consequences, just having a long lasting consequences from this particular one is a bit forced.

I don't really like the twins pooping up anytime in the future, sure they hated him and maybe they meet in the future to say they hated him, but if they have anything bigger than that seemed a bit forced. it's a big world, and the twins hated that one Shinobi from another country so much they actively gunning for him is a bit meh
