It doesn't have to be what kills the individual, it simply has to be utilized in some manner. I don't see how you can call that vague, the clear and cut description of his abilities are, in my eyes, "Anything that has been utilized in war can be manipulated by those with a divinity in war" Now, it's up to the author to be as vague as they want about what falls under that category, I don't really truly care, this is a fanfic it's not made to be a top-tier novel and it's obviously a power fantasy, but besides that it's of better quality than most of the fanfic on here
The orb holding his dimension was within the core of the moon, no?
But the thing is, in my example, gravity has actually been used as a tool for war. Where the entirety of the Earth has not. And we're not thinking about the downfalls of his ability, he'll never be able to utilize an element like fire to a further extent than that of Hephaestus or Hestia, nor lightning like Zeus. Because they aren't the main point of his ability and he will never reach the same mastery over those elements that they have.
Except that's not how I said I thought the ability works. He can't simply say that he is the master of the earth because the entire planet itself hasn't been used in war. He can control fire and gravity because both of these have been used in war, fire in the combustion of firearms and even simple molotovs, and gravity in guerilla warfare which often created traps that dropped the enemy into pits. The power is versatile but it isn't all-encompassing, it's close because we as a race utilize darn near everything to kill one another but it isn't all the way there. There's also the added weakness of him needing to be strong enough to actually utilize some of his more powerful abilities.
Honestly, I think it would have been better to use the horn. It allows him to rise to the power of the opponent he faces, that would stop him from being immediately outmatched.
So... what you're saying is that with enough practice you could make it just as effective in other body parts
I'm fairly certain that he said, Aden I mean, in an earlier chapter that all beings have a capacity for both good and evil. And that's just the truth, everyone has the capacity to enact great good and great evil, it's only their personal values and morals that hold them from doing one or the other
He, uh, didn't he include a trench coat in his outfit? In some ways that's worse...
Light refraction...?
This insinuates that the Aang he fought was the real one... just blinded by the system
