Fang Yuan, as extraordinary as he is, he is only a pawn of the Venerables. Fang Yuan's entire life post Spectral Soul's revival was under the meticulous manipulation of a Venerable. Whether it be Star Constellation, Spectral Soul, Red Lotus,etc, they all used Fang Yuan to further their own goals. Fang Yuan successfully evading Spectral Soul is thanks to Red Lotus. Fang Yuan obtaining Sovereign Immortal Body was thanks to Star Constellation, Red Lotus, and Spectral Soul. Fang Yuan's Quasi-Supreme grandmaster attainment in refinement is only because Star Constellation allowed Fang Yuan to keep his memory's regarding Long Haired Ancestor and Theiving Heaven leaving a inheritance behind for (Likely)Fang Yuan to claim. Fang Yuan finally ceases to be a pawn once he becomes a Venerable, but he only accomplishes it with the aid of Paradise Earth and most importantly Theiving Heaven. I could go on and on about all the times in RI where you could point to a Venerable interference. The point is that the idea that anyone can escape their machinations is asinine. With that said, if you want make Uncrowned Demon King OP, then go right ahead because this story has been nothing short of exemplary and is the best RI fic ever written. I trust the plot direction of this story.

So, your telling me that some random rank 8 bum managed to foil Genesis Lotus's plans and escape the Heavenly Court. I refuse to believe it. Genesis Lotus is same guy who could predict future events regarding Spectral Soul 100,000+ years ahead time. He's also the same guy who anticipated Fang Yuan taking the Divine Bean Palace and managed to use Fang Yuan as a vehicle to merge Divine Bean Palace with Primordial Origins Immortal Gu House. Among Venerables he's a bum, but to everyone else he's a god.

Thanks for the chapter. Normally I find the torture that comes with revenge plots as boring, but this is different. The descriptive detail of the various acts torture naturally brings out feelings of shock and horror, but also a weird sense of anticipation for whatever comes next. From start to finish I was hooked in. I hope Shoto maintains this level cruelty and cold-bloodedness through out the rest of this story.

So, does Shoto have AFO now? If he can't use the quirk then he should probably just seal him into a jar.

Even as a professional AFO glazer this getting kinda extreme. You're telling me AFO manage to learn God mode in less than a month while also spending most of his time trying to flee the country? This is impossible.
