I both respectfully agree and disagree. I'll remove the tag, that's a fair point. In regards to the character, to me, a story should show the development of a character. Whether that is morally good or bad growth is up to the reader and author. In truth, the original plan was to just have the MC be evil from the start, but that doesn't portray a realistic image of an average person. But each to their own. I appreciate you taking the time to read it though, even if you didn't like it. :)

True. My friend actually mentioned that when I was editing. My thought process was that, quite simply, they didn't believe it. Would you believe that someone laser beamed an entire hospital, randomly in real life? That was my thought process, I wanted a semi-realistic world where people just don't believe in these things. And he is the enigma. But as I said, these chapters felt off for me as an author, and I might edit them slightly. They show fear in the next few chapters.

I did think about that, perhaps I'll change it slightly. The only reason it was this way, is because most people in the base are special. They're a cut above, so they're afforded more liberties. That said, I'd consider Fatima a more... unique personality, but she's allowed it due to what she does.

Wow, I did not expect such a thorough and positive review. The synopsis is in regards to me applying for the Military, in which the job requires very good English skills - hence me writing a book to become better. For the chapters, I'll try to increase it but honestly, it takes ages to write and edit so I'll do my best. Besides that, thanks ever so much for the review, I much appreciate it!
