I still disagree. Just because Naruto went for that tactic doesn’t mean that rasenshuriken wouldn’t work against the living raikage. All it means is that the raikage’s “strongest spear” does much more damage at a single point than the rasenshuriken does. The rasenshuriken, in essence, is countless tiny wind blades/needles shredding the body. Yes that would turn Kakuzu to dust. With the Raikage’s defense, it wouldnt turn him to dust. But if didn’t work at all, why would it have knocked him out for a few seconds? The tiny wind blades can’t shred the raikage into dust due to his defense, but it could still penetrate his defenses and damage him. Of course there isn’t a visible regeneration process, the tiny countless blades deal a bunch of tiny injuries. If the Raikage didn’t have an edo tensei body, he wouldn’t have just popped back up a few seconds later like nothing was wrong, and if it didnt work at all he wouldn’t have went down in the first place.

The rasenshuriken didnt work because he was an edo tensei with an immortal body. It almost worked, but his immortal body allowed him to recover just before the sealing was complete. I’m pretty sure it would work on the actual third raikage with a living body.

Why wouldnt he be able to close chakra points? 8 gates makes your chakra erratic so that you can’t use ninjutsu, but i dont think using your byakugan counts as ninjutsu. Otherwise Guy and Lee wouldn’t be able to do things like tree walking or water walking while using the 8 gates.
