This book has potential but falls short in key components: 1) System doesn't show up for 22 chapters! Why?! Condense the fist 21 chapters into like 7 chapters. 2) "You can't see the forest for the trees". Many ideas are repeated several times causing the storyline to stagnate. Clean up the repetition and let the story move a bit more quickly. I like shelter system novels but this one just doesn't take off, for me at least. It has potential but stalls.

very good storyline with many pieces to keep track of. unique world build and keeps reader interested. minor flaw where author gets a little overindulged on "side" info/storyline from time to time.
