Take your time getting your motivation back, it's always better to let things marinate a bit rather than write something you're not happy with! I have been re-reading up to this point because Hu Lijing's story made me completely disconnect from the base scenario. I think Hu Lijing and Long Zhenhai would be better served having their own, separate book rather than being integrated here 🤔 It's just a personal opinion, and the fact that I've been reading along from the start probably changes that from someone who will experience it when you have finished writing, but I thought it could be valuable to share. I think it would be easier to follow if here it was a simplified version, similar to the way Li Xinyuan shared his own past with his best friend after Lijing is done with his own story. I love this story (both stories actually), but I think this made it hard on my brain, I had a really hard time getting back into reading until Lijing's part was completed. And then, I realized I needed to read back the start, which was another mental obstacle for me, and made me put off reading again. Now that I'm caught up, I feel the same excitement as when I started, waiting for new chapters to come out :) Anyways, thank you for this story, I love it regardless and you're doing a great job~
