1.Slow pace needs time-skips. 2.The MC is still a 5-year-old after almost 100 chapters. 3.Too many unnecessary fillers. 4.Excessive focus on background characters. I enjoyed the first 20 to 30 chapters, thinking it was just setting up the story and anticipating a time skip. But oh boy, was I wrong. We're 100 chapters in, and there’s still a ton of unnecessary filler. This novel seems more focused on background characters than the main character. For example, there are 50 to 70 chapters of random mining for mana stones—completely unnecessary. This could have been handled earlier in the story or skipped altogether. Instead, we get a drawn-out sequence that feels like it’s there just to pad the novel. And the whole "killing people with snakes" arc feels like a convoluted way to stretch the story without adding meaningful progression. Even worse, after 100 chapters, the protagonist is still a 5-year-old acting like a full-grown adult. I get that this is a fantasy story, but even fantasy needs some realism. It’s becoming boring. You could skip 10 to 30 chapters and still feel like you haven’t missed anything—that’s how painfully slow the story is. The writing itself is solid, but the pacing and unnecessary padding make this novel feel disappointing. It could really benefit from a rewrite or a significant cut to its length.

I'll be honest: I enjoyed this novel for the first 100 chapters, especially before the "new world" arc and all the unnecessary twists. I knew the MC's personality was flawed, but I could still enjoy the story. However, after reading another 100 chapters, the novel has become unbearable for several reasons: 1.Billions of Deaths Brushed Off: The MC is indirectly responsible for billions of deaths. While I understand he didn’t know this would happen, he brushes it off as if it has nothing to do with him. That lack of accountability is frustrating. 2.Pointless Killing and War: The MC goes around killing people—most of whom are trash and deserve it—but his actions only escalate the war he indirectly started. Even if he didn’t start the war intentionally, the fact that it stems from his presence or actions matters, yet he brushes it off like it’s not his problem. 3.Brain-Dead Side Characters: The other characters in the story are frustratingly stupid. For example, the Church claims they want to protect the MC, but their search for him leads to the deaths of innocent people. Instead of addressing the consequences of their actions, they keep repeating the same mistakes. 4.Repetitive Stats Sheets and Quests: The constant repetition of stats sheets, quests, and sword descriptions every couple of chapters is annoying. It feels like filler. Also, the trashy sex scenes add nothing to the story and are completely unnecessary, especially since the MC is such an unlikable character. There are other flaws in the novel, but I won’t go into them here. Suffice it to say, it’s disappointing how much this story has deteriorated. The only reason I’m giving this a 2-star rating is because of the writing quality. While the English isn’t perfect, especially in the POV sections, everything else is reasonably well-written.

Transcending Humanity

A young man finds himself in Stan Lee's house within the multiverse, only to learn that an Eldritch god has devised a gaming system, similar to those in other fanfics, to turn him into a conduit to destroy the multiverse, intending to breach its boundaries and consume it. However, due to his strong willpower and fighting the influence of the Eldritch god through sheer will, he is granted several wishes. Did he want a system? Did he want instant powers like in other novels? No, he chose to remain human, cherishing his connection to his race. With the few wishes he was given, he was sent to the hp/DxD crossover world to carve out his own path. Author's Note: This book will follow the story of Ethan in the worlds of High School DxD and Harry Potter. My goal is to make Ethan strive to become the best version of himself. I don't want my main character to be a psychopath or overly naive. I aim to create a story that is enjoyable for everyone, but if it’s not your cup of tea, I completely understand. There will be world-building, character interactions, and romance. It won’t be a "I see you, and you're mine" scenario out of nowhere, and I’ll try to keep it realistic, though I’m not the best when it comes to romance. At its core, this story is about uplifting humanity. Humanity has often been looked down upon by other fantasy factions, and this story is about transcending humanity, showing that they can rise above their limits.
