I myself am not a bif fan of og characters as partners, especially in a worlds (or franchises if you would prefer ) so big like mcu, you can literally do anything you want with the characters who have background so why make a new one?

if we're talking about his power level, then the easiest would be to point at his cultivation technique which got stuck in bottleneck some time before his awakening (10 lv soul power) and he didn't have that issue from start, and he was cultivating from very early time so he WASN'T supposed to be full of spirit power, and for 'every twin has a 10lv of spirit power at the start', we have really not enough information about this, there could be more twins about whom we have no idea etc,
