Yeah, of course, this fanfic should still be the top priority, but a Lucifer fiction would be quite interesting, especially with DC elements, maybe add John Constantine, or maybe you could introduce Dream of the Endless, Morpheus. Maybe since Lucifer is such an iconic and fun character the Mc could be Morpheus (self insert) - Just an idea, don't take it seriously All things considered I think it's a good idea, of course, be careful to not "burn out".

I think Bela would be a nice pair for Dean. She complements him well.

Here are some of my favorite monsters: The False Hydra (DnD), maybe a Siren would be interesting, maybe some Yaoguai and more storylines with reapers since basically they are on the same side: ensuring that the dead stay dead. In corelation with this point, I believe it would be really interesting if Sam and Dean had contacts in the supernatural world. For example, gods like Anubis, which is all about justice, fairness, and ensuring that the dead can rest (well, those he deems worthy anyway). I think they would get along, you can introduce him how the did it in American Gods. You can also get inspiration from there about his character. More interesting Monsters: Leviathans (I mean actual Leviathans, like sea monsters, not what they had in season 7, I never really enjoyed them); and you can go deeper into demon lore, you can improve the hierarchy: in the show it was only [black eyes- red eyes- white eyes- demon knights/lords- Lucifer) you can also introduce fallen angels as demons on juice, being far more powerful than ordinary demons since they literally followed Lucifer into hell.

That's a really good idea it would make you fanfic stand out and be a breath of fresh air rather than just recycling the original story. It would have the same characters that we love but with new twists and turns. The part about diving deeper into mythology is very good but it must be done right. I wish you all the best with this. Also I have some suggestions for this, a monster I always found really cool is the "False Hydra" from D&D (although I don't know if it's a viable option with it being far above Sam and Dean's level) You can take inspiration from DnD Also I saw that you are planning on adding the Vampire Diaries and The Originals to this fic, I don't object, it's your fanfic after all however I suggest you also add Crowley (maybe change his name) from Good Omens, he is an incredible character. Also since we've seen Sam and Dean travel to different universes it would be quite funny to see them appear in Lucifer and their reactions upon meeting him. Anyway these are just some suggestions take them with a grain of salt, it's your story after all. I wish you the best and I hope you dont drop this, I really like it so far.
