Overall a good read, the only qualms I could possibly with this story are the updates. Which is reasonable because the author is in school.

Some heteromorphic ideas: 1. Jötunn 2. Remorhaz (from DnD which is a centipede like monster) 3. Ice Mephit (which is kinda like a flying ice goblin)
