My life has been a mess since I went on multiple deployments. I read to escape, which is far better than what many Soldiers turn to. So I totally feel what you're saying. My family has always been supportive and around, but they can't understand the things I have seen and gone through. Often, I feel alone even when others are present. All you can do is take one breath and step at a time. There is always evil, loneliness, sadness, and ill in the world, but then there will be a day when the sun rises, and goodness, happiness, and love shine through. ❤️ Like I always told my Soldier's sometimes you just have to take a knee, drink water, change your socks, then get up and truck on because over the next hill could be something you always dreamed of. Ash20, keep your head up. You are never truly alone! It can't rain all the time. Wait for the day the sun shines down on you again❤️🙏❤️ Your writing brings happiness and an escape for so many of us! Thank you for everything!😊

I enjoyed the story, but there are definitely plot holes. Please don't take this harshly, just trying to give some point of view from a readers perspective. I am confused about how Lucas married Julia when he never fully divorced Aurora???? They had filed but were both putting off finalizing it. She even told her dad that they were till married and trying to make it work. Then he got in an accident and she went away. Did I miss a chapter where they actually got divorced so he could marry Julia???? How did he never find his marriage certificate to Aurora or find out about his marriage when he registered to marry Julia? How did Lucas never feel the mate bond when Aurora showed back up, as he had fully marked her and everything. He should have felt the mate bond since he marked her. It was just odd. I guess that the drug that causes memory loss must have suppressed the moon goddesses bond as well, but it was never discussed. So it just left a void. The ending definitely felt rushed as there was so much stuff that was just filler, but the actual plot seemed unfinished. I get Lucas wanting to still be Caleb's dad, but the fact that Julia is never confronted about it, but we get to hear about a birthday party. That just seems odd. I would have much rather had the plot holes filled in and them confronting Julia of all her schemes than heard about the kids preparing a birthday party.

Loved this book! I would love to have a hard copy of this story. I was worried because it was so long, but the world building and character building was great and kept me interested the whole time. it never got boring, and after I finished it, I was actually sad it was over and wanted more. however, I was happy with the way it ended.
