Yup, You should definitely remove the cringey lines before the spells, it does not really fit- cause ya know you're firing a spell in a maybe not dangerous situation but still, it's a waste of time and you could've cast a spell or two in the time you finished your monologue.

About the abduction of Diana? Will it be just her being trapped/imprisoned or something worse? And if it is something worse - guess drop the story
