In hand to hand combat you have to use your brawn, brain and wits but also your instincts, reflexes, your opponent’s weaknesses, terrain/surroundings, blind spots and your willpower. So trickery and playing dirty not the same thing. If you were up against a UFC fighter would you also not use trickery to win as long as it was legal in the sparring match/ real fight.
