he does own the island but he didn't receive the original contract that his grandfather had so he doesn't know all the details about the entire deal. and his island is part of a larger chain that's basically a region. one person can't take care of it all but he's getting benefits from this as we go. I know it's not truly thought out but I'm working on it.
