I think it's like a blood oath or a mating bond in werewolves....so they're bonded together for life and can share each others powers and stuff

so far, the characters are well developed with great motivations. tithe world building is well thought out so far with little information being dropped as the reader moves along and my favourite character is definitely Carol. I am in love ❤️
