The author spent about 10 chapters simply developing a Thanksgiving night, with characters going shopping for clothes, food, returning home, preparing the food, and the characters' time-consuming reflection (Cecília, especially every time she appears in the story, has to state that she will protect Adam to the death, something she has repeated about 15 times up until this point). I understand why the sun hated her so much in high school. Yes, those 10 chapters of Thanksgiving night were what made me go crazy with the novel but I'm still going to follow it.
Another bad thing is the pace of development of the heroines, which doesn't seem to progress in their romantic relationship with the MC. 270 chapters and he only stayed with one who he doesn't even seem to like yet except for sex, that sums up their relationship. sex partners and there were 3 others waiting for dozens of chapters that I won't mention the name. This is strange when the author is the same as STHK and there both the story and the progress with the heroines seem to go so much better, being that this is his second work.
Good story, if there is one thing that is a low point it is the slow pace that sometimes becomes irritating. I know it is a modern world but the slices of life are very dragged out. There were many parts (mostly reflections of the author himself) that end up dragging out the chapters.
The story starts off as cliché but gets very interesting, I can't wait for the MC to at least stop being an ugly, destroyed old man and become a tidy old man.
I don't understand why the author wanted to add so much drama right at the beginning and make things so complicated like the MC telling the women that the owner of the body died and he is a wandering soul. No one really cares about these stories and it's better when the wandering soul takes over the body's identity completely. this created a feeling of alienation and lack of sympathy for the MC.
At first the writing is pretty trashy but it improves over time... regarding the power levels, it's impressive how the author was inspired by Kakashi when making this work, because all the characters have problems with ki depletion even though they have already reached the realm of the gods at an advanced stage, which should give a large enough reserve of energy to fight for a long time like in any other cultivation novel, Huang guai was just running away from pursuit and was already talking about running out of ki(a cultivator in the kingdom of the gods you should be able to fly for weeks or months at maximum speed) characters use some skills and warn that they may run out of ki. It's just a power issue that really bothered me. Another thing I didn't like is having another protagonist and a character who knows everything that will happen in the future giving spoilers to the 2 protagonists of the novel (this is very stolen and breaks the tension)
when he becomes the cosmic emperor you can merge his multiple personalities (zed, kiba, extermination) or make Kiba dominant forever. I find it inconvenient that you left Zed with the personality of a Shounem protagonist. it makes it look like they are 2 different people when he becomes kiba.
for those who only like a little yuri this novel is not for you either. It's annoying how almost everyone and especially the group of women next to Lilith (mc's mother) look like lesbians with tastes for mc.
not to mention that the arc of the academy, the MC started to stop being the main focus for the author to make several subplots of other reincarnated people and people with systems. not that these people are going to make any threat to the MC it's just something to hinder the development of the mc itself.
It starts out good but after a while it loses its charm. I'm on c200 and MC solves everything with 2 slaps. Mc's mother is the strongest being in the world and has no sense of danger in history. the MC's personality isn't particularly nice, there's no feeling of the MC getting stronger because his lineage is already the best in this world since the beginning and his enemies don't give a challenge. the good thing about mc overpower is them humiliating people who are arrogant but so far in history no one has really interacted directly with the MC and most of his enemies are afraid of him at the flee. Add that to being almost impossible to die in this world when everyone has more than 10 lives and it's hard to keep going for very long.
