I put new bread in the fridge and do the same with old bread I put it in the freezer to last longer. The reason I do that I because where I live the high humidity causes the bread to grow moldy quickly and so to prevent that I put it in a cool place that will slow down the bacterial and mold growth as well as give it a longer shelf life

It’s not toms gf the author said in the comments that it was another girl because Tom was with his gf the entire time that last bit I added my self since it was not clarified well. BTW I don’t know if am right or not but I think am somewhere close.
