I hate the bell character. Explain to me how a deaf wizard exists? There has never been a deaf wizard in HP Stop trying to be different withouth putting thought into the character it just looks like forced plot. You are conviniently ignoring that potions can cure her condition if not potions then magic, its not some elaborate genetic disease that a healing spell can't cure. If you come up with an excuse that potions don't work then magic most certaintly does, if you say she has no money for potions she can literally ask the teachers.
