He’s so elegant and graceful. When I think of Lysander, I think of mint and cold crisp water.
Lysander approached the foot of the bed, passing like a cloud before the sun pouring in from the open patio doors. One corner of his mouth lifted in a hint of a smile. "Welcome back. They are friends now."

Right, give Wren too much of a challenge and he’ll certainly take it 🤣🤣
He half-heartedly swatted Wren on the shoulder when the man couldn't seem to resist placing a series of kisses up the side of his neck in front of their audience, but he knew better than to fight too much when Wren was like this. It would only result in something even more conspicuous than a few kisses.

Gosh, this is such a sweet moment. I can feel Wren’s relief through the screen. And I have a feeling that Wren is going to want to be even more protective/caring than before, leaving Rowan to constantly insist that he’s fine.
Wren spun toward him, relief washing across his tense features. With a shaky breath, he buried his face in Rowan's neck, wrapping his arms around Rowan's shoulders and half lifting him off the pillows in the process.

“Polished onyx” that is such a pretty visual 🌸
Wren had pulled up a chair to sit quietly at his bedside, and he listened to the others with his face angled toward the kitchen where they continued to speak in hushed tones. The sunlight from the patio fell on one side of his hair so the black strands shone like polished onyx. His body blocked Rowan's view of his uninvited guests, but it didn't matter.
