Right thing is a matter if opinion. MC actions are based of a book written by his ancestors which show one side of the story. One side evil is another side good. There always a reason for actions. Jumping to conclusions early will make me dumb af.

I understand where you’re coming from, the point I was trying to make doesn’t change though. People in general are way less likely to intervene then you would hope, I’ve seen my fair share of scum. I have no issue with you initial statement, I was just showing that most don’t have the same mentality you do.

I thought I would be dealing with a smart mc and system… but I was wrong no matter how you look at it devour is the greatest skill to have early stages as it allows you to gain skills that will benefit you now and in the future. The second skill can be debated but devour should’ve been a must. Just saying I hate dumb choices like this I can see mc running into problems that would be resolved by just having devour at his disposal
