yes,normally it takes a few chapters to get the feeling... but in your fanfic it took one chapter.. it shows how awful this is

wasted a good few hours,reading this awful piece of crap. the mc in the story has more in common with his pet turtle and a komodo dragon then engine else. I wouldn't be surprised if he hooks up with them at the end
