Have you read the LN's? Because he has and will use plenty of knowledge , the knowledge he's accumulated in his last life constantly plays into the way he lives his life and his thought process. MT is a very well done isekai, though the author does restrict rudeus a bit too much because he's afraid of him becoming a generic op mc

I don't see how inserting a character invalidates rudeus's journey, his story doesn't necessitate that the world revolves around him or anything. Honestly more fics need to stop replacing the mc and come up with more original shit
