Hera really got into Chess, yes you heard me I invented the board game chess out of bordem and taught them to play. Sadly only Hera got into it, though it was fun to play against herr. Poseidon really got into surfing, turns out that the acid would actually have giant waves. So after inventing surfing and creating surfboards that were acidproof and teaching Poseidon, he would be out in the acid riding the waves all the time. As for Hestia and Demeter they were close to each other and spend most time talking to each other.

Vegeta is a purely self taught individual. He said so himself in the Super manga. The first teacher he had is the alien on Yardrat that taught Hoku and him instant transmission.
