I'm a 23 year old college student that is a big fan of stories like Overlord and Konosuba. I wanted to try my own hand at the stories that I've read before.

I really appreciate what you said. To answer your question, I have somewhat continued this series on my own yet have yet to actually finish it. I have been busy with my own life due to various reasons and as a result it's hard to actually sit down and write the story. If you would like to contact me for more, please feel free to add me on discord at Menonono#1548
To put it simply: The environment of Web Novel along with the lack of input from readers led to burnout. Writing 1 to 2 chapters a day every single day with no money coming in and no readers giving consistent input made me decide not to continue. It hurt to make that decision, but I believe it was for the best for me. Perhaps in the future I will write a new story. I already have a few ideas, but I just need to find some time and the spark to write again. Thank you for reading my story up to this point.
Yeah. I sort of have been continuing writing it on my Google docs, and there is a collaboration I'm doing with a few other WN writers. I just am no longer writing this novel on Web Novel. If you want any answers to what happens in the story feel free to ask.
I also want to explain a few things if you'd be interested. First: The Japanese elements are not from the world itself, but the fact that Kenji is Japanese. His perception of everything is Japanese. I showed off how things are different in Phillip Walker's perspective. Second: The "power of friendship" in the later parts was really less of an actual power up and instead literally the MC and his friends coming through together. I always made it a point to show off teamwork. I know some of these things sound hand-wavey, but it's the whole truth from me.
Thanks. I'm glad you read it. I stopped writing for multiple reasons, but I'm still appreciative of your review.
Ken is Japanese for blade/weapon. Tatsumaki is Japanese for tornado or spiral.
This question is too curious even for Kenji.
Because he has the Samurai class?
Survivors guilt.
It's very... complicated. Tael had a lot to lose and had a bit of an immortality complex. To have that all crash in on him made him retreat, so to speak. He didn't leave because he disliked Kenji (far from it) he left because he was afraid.
