In their search, they met the Curtish people, uncivilized folks, who were having problems with Manganis, evil apes. The professor professed to have a solution to their problems too but demanded a favor. Can the humankind survive without technology? How far can the Curtish people go pleasing the urban folks? Will the apes really take a bargain? Will the two species of humankind live together in peace or prey on each other's weaknesses?
