the means for creation was imperfect because the gods were perceived as perfect. they were not. they were limited by their expectations. only by living and experiencing life and its many flaws could you discover that chaining chaos and the void is not only impossible but not ideal. to create a perfect world you need pain, you need suffering, you need flaws. the gods and daemons were defeated because only with change could you hope to achieve a better world. the corruption is therefore less a cancer and more a cure. the next world could be better. the next iteration might get it right. the universe is attempting a balance because one direction or the other is not the ideal. too much corruption ends an iteration, it seems, but that is okay because there are lessons in its destruction.

i don't know if translator/editor mistake but i don't think author-san knows exactly how high a meter is. the highest skyscraper is over 800 meters for example. a flying beast would hardly consider a 30 meter fence a hindrance.
