I like this chapter a lot more than the last, but JuhuFrog is right. Try to keep us updated on his Pokémon more often. Even just having Bulbs in the same room so they are strengthening their bond or something.

I don't mind getting a paragraph or two on the more technical side of things, but I would rather the story progress.

Can he not just take the ICAT before he’s 18?

If this is Nott thinking, it’s unlikely that he would think of his own family/faction as extremists. He’d think their ideals were natural (unless he doesn’t agree with them).

Not sure if I’m too late or not, but I saw this house in a Wednesday FF. Gives off magical vibes with it being too wonky like Weasley’s or Lovegoods houses.

Probably a bit too late, but shouldn’t it be more of anything? Like more intelligence, more luck, etc.. Or maybe that could be the awakened powers?

Curving bullets from Wanted would be cool. Might have to make sure own gun and bullets though.
