Pretty good concept and well written at the start however I feel it quickly becomes a book parodying other books. More specificly the lord of the rings arc, I found I could skip multiple chapters and still carry on as if I read them all. The book became what the other characters were doing about Sauron more than what the MC was doing at all. Adding into the fact it was following the actual books story line made it feel like there was no point in me reading it for the occasional OC character complaint here and there. I stopped reading around here to review the book, I’ll give it another read when there are more chapters.

The animals? I havnt actually explained it that well yet. Its something I want Zane to explore on his own. I can say the reason has already been placed somewhere in the earlier chapters but the reasoning doesn't follow 'lore accurate' harry potter rules. Just wait and find out, I have a lot of things planned for whats ahead. :D
