You might want to cut back on the dark souls references a bit, you're kind of going from merely derivative to direct copying with the pursuer and the grand archives here. It's somewhat jarring and takes you out of it.

Huh, I wonder if you could use poison to induce cancer in it. If it has vitals that would put serious strain on its systems, and even if it doesn't the threat might be rendered moot if you turned the entire thing into a clump of skin cells that drained energy from whatever it uses as a brain.
