condolences on your loss as well. It's never easy to grieve over loved ones but we do get used to it at times. will come and go but we can only keep moving forward unfortunately haha... I'm sure my mom is in a better place. no longer suffering from cancer.

yes i heard hEDS was like that! ahh sorry for the crappy doctors 😭 as for me, i dont think i have hEDS specifically. i dont show the classic signs of hypermobility 🤔 but i do know i have some hypermobility because of my joint subluxations (im incredibly stiff now in my joints. lost a lot of range of motions). anyway, i still want to get tested because a lot of my symptoms match the EDS found in genetic testing but still worried about getting "normal" results haha

to be honest, my diagnosis of fibromyalgia is a bit iffy. they didnt want to do further tests and just gave me that label. im young and in pain so its probably fibromyalgia (they see it as a mental condition that affects you physically). as for migraines, i actually know what is causing it but they cant do any surgery on me until it gets soooo bad im bedridden. 😅 the surgeries are invasive and can leave me with a ton of complications so they dont want to attempt it yet.

i think i understand! humans are social species, even those who are the most introvert. our lives are interconnected in different ways even if we cant see it. being human is such a unique experience because of our complex thoughts and interactions with not only other people but the world around us. 😄 i enjoy having conversations like this. no matter where we are in the world, we can take the time to sit and think about the human experience and share it with other people to see a glimpse of the world in their eyes.
