While my original comment is true... the English in this story isn't as much. Most of it is very roughly put together. Looks like an MTL.

If you want to sound more professional here. Replace "a nothing" with the word "anything." Reason- Without and nothing are both synonyms which mean they cancel each other out. This makes this segment incorrect writing.
