That is literally his whole shtick. Plus you are just making him repeat what the Phoenix said, get some originality please. You are literally forcing enemies on the MC right now in the first chapter, you are literally making it so these characters have no common sense and confront a powerful entity head on making demands and threats, they are not that arrogant or dumb.

Just do it. His idea is not original or new. Its been done for years at this point. Granted there are few of them. Still not his idea though. Give me the name of your fanfic when you write it.
