basically yes however the author's already said exactly how much time he put into the work and what he even did in his free time when he wasn't training so the problem is that him already not doing as well as he could have done (as shown) is part of the story so it doesn't make sense without something else basically I'm calling the main character slow or lazy behind the scenes "at best" (when he has already been depicted as a hard worker) which kind of sucks cuz the main characters kind of supposed to be well... maybe not cool, but at least not sucky in a normal story ( there are some stories where they suck on purpose)
yes but I'm basing it off of information while you're saying how you feel about it even if the info is not perfectly right I'm saying it's not even in the ballpark of being right so even if I'm kind of wrong now the problem that you have is you're not understanding how big of a time that is this was years of time you might be reading a lot of books where there's like time skips and training arcs that take long time but usually those training arcs take so long because it's for a hard thing for him this should be using something that's basically a part of him like a limb he doesn't need to go out of his way to learn most of it sure there's some things he needs to learn but that's actual learning like studying from a book and he has access to the internet unlike a lot of these stories that are like semi-fantasy based and doesn't have internet usually it's one-on-one training with a guy who's doing his own thing in his own time but we have flat out information on how the character spent all of his time throughout that entire time skip I don't think you understand how long that is are you saying with how much time he had to do this with it being a part of you that you can control almost instinctively you wouldn't be able to train that there are people that can learn how to make their heart beat in rhythm within less than a year and I say there are people that do that not to say it's hard or that only a few people can do it that almost every single person that has tried to do that and actually put in the work like our MC was said to have done have been able to do it in that time period I'm saying for an adult with information in all the fields he needs with a simple search of the internet and in almost instinctual usage of the basic aspects of his work it should not take him basically since he was a four considering after that he had to train his quirk which although it does you stamina is not directly linked as a muscle and therefore it takes from your entire body(as seen in multiple instances in canon unless it's specified otherwise somewhere which I haven't found it specified anywhere) Heck if you want to go that way and you want to do it based on feelings and other fictional works then why don't we just use stuff like demonslayer or Dragon Ball (which I believe are very popular which is why I'm using them instead of doing other obscure things) you brought up Goku which is kind of perfect cuz his training is perfect throughout the show he grows more as his body can take more harm from his own strength but even as a child he could use basically his strongest move cuz it's his own control even though it uses his energy or stamina he could do the same thing at the same ability level even into the later show and with Demon Slayer and other shows with breathing techniques you just have to build it into your instincts and that doesn't take your entire life and the things he would have to do to use the Ability she's using are basically a level system for how much energy he wants and then a movement system for how he wants to move it and then the one he's currently working on which is inside or outside of his body if you think of each one of those as a technique which I'm oversimplifying so you can understand this then Max case if these are hard things to learn it would take maybe a year and that's not hard training that's just in the background while he's living his life training but he specifically went out of his way to train as soon as he could for each of his benchmarks as soon as he was physically able to try and he started physically training as soon as he was mentally able to train he mentally trained and his court control is basically a mental factor which technically means he could have been training it since 4
if the author didn't want us to think he should be that strong he shouldn't have tried to make him this "strong" with this experiences and descriptions... the problem is the author put the things he did into the story and flat out told us how much effort he put into things to the point that the effort he put in was not worth what he should have achieved but he never gave an excuse to why he didn't actually achieve the level he should have and therefore there's a problem that you're skipping over cuz you think it makes sense that he's in a child's body and therefore he should be weak when although the court itself should be weak his use of it shouldn't be as weak especially when the author repeatedly says he trains his control
you're missing literally everything I'm saying you're not understanding the basic thing that I've been saying this entire time I literally cannot get you to understand what I'm saying so I'm just going to stop this cuz you do not understand you're saying it matters that his body is a child but it doesn't not in the context that I'm giving you he started training as soon as he possibly couldto his limits in ways no one else could ... literally no one and there's not a shred of evidence to prove that that helped him the author says he has all these things (no joke like 4 major things and some minor)that are benefiting him but he's only slightly stronger but he's only a "tier" higher than someone that only had access to one of the things he could do and for that person it shouldn't even have counted cuz he was basically forced into doing it in which case he wouldn't put his heart into it he was just going through the motions
romance ¿
and you're basing it on a normal child which he was never a normal child and that's the part you're not getting it he was training his skills as soon as he possibly could and knew more about his skills than any child would learn until they're his age when he first started training his ability he already had the mentality of an adult at the peak of their training ages he basically gets to stay in his Peak Performance of training for years and not only that the other kids weren't even allowed to train their quirks cuz of the law which he went out of his way to avoid and find a secret place to do this training but he also had the willpower and the drive to not half-ass it like a kid cuz he knew better basically you're comparing his age and the other kids ages and saying he's strong but I'm saying if he trained the same amount of time as an adult and they both did equal training he would be way way way behind and that's basically what he did so if you're trying to say that he's strong compared to the kids then yeah he's very strong compared to the kids but he should never have been in that lane of comparison to begin with and the fact that he's compared at that level is stupid
thanks
I've never watched it but I'm assuming you're talking about the thing with Black Bolt which I have seen like I'm short on YouTube of he was speaking so plainly of it that it seems like it should have been obvious but even though I knew that that doesn't really seem like an obvious jump so I just crossed it out
