Why wasn't this novel picked up? It's a breath of fresh air, and actually written very very nicely. I highly recommend it if you like unique and solid world building and fun characters that are fleshed out.

The subtext in this chapter doesn't translate super easily, so I'm with Goldie.

Also, this is all a reference to the blade movie. The first one, which was the best.
