Obito evolved his incredibly quickly and jumpstarted from 0 with massive training not unlocking em to 2 tomoe instantly from a similar event and honestly I'm more trying to lead on that he had little attachment to that gal if that's all he got from that event since sharingan supposedly evolve through traumatic events.

Honestly this charachter's talent and capability are a bit too trash. Only awakening a 2 tomoe sharingan when he's experiencing the death of his girlfriend personally is just pathetic. Same with this trash system costing more every few uses.

I believe this is a deep past time travel to the Pharoah's time type of arc. But yeah I could totally see a new power rising out of time travel this is yugioh afterall.

At least not for this test more than long forms. Multiplication division and other more advanced for the time concepts would be considered more the realms of the people in charge of far more things like handling supply caravans and taxes n stuff like the pharo who would need to know enough to negotiate with foreign powers.
