No it’s not. In the comics Scott was the only thing that saved mutants when Scarlet Witch erased 93% of mutants off the map with her infamous line ‘No More Mutants’. Wolverine actively subverts Cyclops because he’s a hypocrite and Beast actually joins the enemy (Secret Avengers). I get in the movies Scott is used as a foil, but that’s only because they promote Wolverine since Hugh Jackman is awesome… but in the comics Cyclops has always been the leader of the X-Men and is the actual hero of mutant kind.

Cyclops is literally the Hero for mutant kind. It’s people who don’t understand the actual X-Men vs Avengers plot who think he’s somehow a bad guy… or worse, it’s people who only watched the movies where Wolverine was the hero and the movie studio made Cyclops the foil to make Wolverine ‘cool’.

Problem with giving more powers means that something will be forgotten about.

The premise of this novel is actually so dumb that no real person/persons would ever act that way, while the MC reinforces their idiotic behaviors with his even more idiotic behavior. The boy that the MC transmigrated into (aged 14) was found in a compromising position with a girl his similar age, and immediately the adults began to beat/torture him. The boy’s older brother immediately threatens to kill him the first time he sees him, despite the MC having been starved. The MC’s parents immediately abandoned him, acting in such a way that not even a wild animal would act. He’s forced to join the army and is told immediately that they’re only there to die…. Like wtf, literally no one would fight, they would rebel. All in all, the characters in this webnovel more retarded that the face-slapping ‘kill yourself’ young masters in Chinese webnovels. They’re more retarded than the peanut galleries who chatter and underestimate an MC after he’s already shown to be strong. These people are literally too retarded to be alive.

Cyclops is the most trustworthy, Colossus is a good guy too. Wolverine is a hypocrite and bastard tbh
