I do not keepo the detailed records of everything for this novel (like, what chapter comes with what advances) so I can't say for sure but from the top of my head, I believe this here is a typo, consistiency mistake. And as far as I remember, yes, you are absolutely right, it should be sixth stage, my bad!

Okay, I've got it (purely off my memory, but still!) The difference is, yes, Tim already crafted a working example of a Qi-converted that can be plugged directly into the network. But that was him crafting while under the influence of his constituion. On the other hand, the devices he made around this chapter are made with his hands only. In other words, this is the first device that he himself made, without relying on the crutch of his constitution. That's as far as I remember the case being, so I hope it clarified everything!

I actually meant to reply a lot sooner, but totally forgot about it. This point is one of the main reasons why the world of the story has McRonalds or KentYucky Friend Chicken insted of MCD or KFC. Labor laws work differently in various countries so, as to not bog myself down within the legalities of US law, you are just safely assume that whenever those laws do not pop out, they simply do not apply. There's a country that I'm modeling the world of the story on, but even this aint US

It has both. And while there are times when its more action and times where its more crafting/slice of life/romance, Im doing my best to keep them balanced.

In other words, you acuse me of writing something purely because others are doing the same, leave at the first sign that maybe, JUST MAYBE, your prejudice has even the slightest sliver of a chance to be on a point, and even then, only in an extremely momentary and passing manner... And then act all high and mighty when you fall bait, hook and line for the bait and switch? Yeah, maybe you are right, maybe this novel is all about MC getting exposed, then kidnapped and then after kidnapping its just his diary of working in a sweatshop until his body gives away while Claire moves on and finds some beta cvck to replace MC by her side. That's exactly what happens and why you did a great job leaving, kudos for being such a foreseeing reader!

I know of at least one, extremely popular app that already makes it extremely easy to record/livestream yourself, be it with an unfortunate touch on the screen or an unfortunate key press. And Im willing to bet quite the money its not the only one. Now, extrapolate it through slightly futuristic setting, and its going to be all the easier. As for how the story develops, don't worry. I might meme a bit in chapters but the story itself was set long before I sat down to write this particular chapter. In other words, delivery doesnt affect the outcome, merely the perception of the process.
