    here's the context. The MC is racist and made a racist remark. Doesn't see anyone else other than Chinese as sapient beings. thinks Chinese people invented computers, cellphones, the internet, etc.

    People getting mad because the Chinese authors/characters are being racist in novels where the majority of readers are English speaking people with freedom. Btw, it is quite refreshing to argue online. Kind of like stress relief, punching idiots with logic and seeing them get all worked up :V It's meditative.
