Thoughts about Arturia and Iskandar's argument? I personally think that both are different forms of kingships suited to their own history. Britain on the brink of collapse needed someone akin to a saint in order to being every human in Britain together against the last age of mysteries and the oncoming invasions. She had to be someone who could wield a weapon that could slay a being who killed all the gods with a inhuman will, a perfect king. Not many could hold such a weapon without greed, not just anyone could wield Excalibur. (I don't think we've seen it at full power yet as it has so many seals.) Iskandar was in the dwindling age of gods, a world still miring in mysteries. In his invasions and war, he needed to be the biggest, strongest, and loudest in order to rule his empire. In his time, HIS words were law. He wasnt a perfect king because he didnt need to be. He was the aspirations of his people and what people sought to be. If he didnt die, the world would have been his. Iskandar probably didn't know as most didnt, but Arturia was an essential figure in human history that the modern age needed to come to be. (Fate universe.) Any doubts? Look at the singularities and lost belts in fgo. Arturia being a saint, thinking she didnt do good enough is pretty normal, but could anyone else have filled her role? I think many would be hard pressed to, if not impossible. If Gilgamesh was the divider for tge age of gods and its end, then Arturia was the divider between the modern age and the age of mysteries where the inner sea of the planet was closed off.
