This story exists already… this one has been tweaked but a version of it’s definitely already been uploaded before.
One paragraph they talk about how highly personal the suit is and how it speaks to one’s character. The next he’s calling Peni to set the structural hardware of the suit and then his actual input is the basic design… just a bit bolder? So his character is like the story… a mixture of other people’s work with a generic adjustment as a personal touch.
Bide… from the east. 😓

Okay… now that this arc seems to be coming to an end I just want to say how stupid this whole thing was. The whole situation with the reaper. Nothing prevents these people from logging out… are you telling me the reaper attacks their base even when they aren’t there? Are they also unable to log out after their tomb is destroyed? So what happens to someone who doesn’t log in for a week? This whole scenario makes no sense! There’s too many illogical things happening… the whole world social structure seems to be missing. It’s like the whole world revolves around the ability to fight and conquer the floors yet none of the people involved seem to be paying any attention to these conflicts. The Su family are ignoring the opinion of their own people, who happen to be the backbone of their future, and they are siding with outsiders or turning their backs on their difficulties. The same goes for the rich kid. There’s no rich family in that sort of society without a backbone to rely on or someone would scheme to take their assets away. This kid nearly died multiple times and he still needed the Su family to save the day? Everything is being taken care of inside the third floor… why aren’t there any backup from the businesses on the outside? Are you going to tell me they allowed this guy to kidnap someone and nearly kill the son of the richest man in the city without anyone getting involved… The only thing that actually made sense in this situation was that Su Jingyan instantly rescued the daughter of the assassin guy because when she died her family had to take it seriously. They should have scouted out the situation and refused to act because they were siding with Chen but when she died the meaning of whole scenario changed and they had to act. The problem with this line of thinking is the value they placed on cooperating with the Chen family… it says a lot if they were watching everything happen yet they were still willing to sacrifice their only epic class heir and turn her powerful sister against them for this conniving git. There’s also the promising rookie that they tossed aside without regrets. It doesn’t sound like a friendship so much as sucking up to the Chen family or being blackmailed. Even in the face of forming a possible alliance with the richest family they refrain from taking action… why?
…how do you block someone who can teleport?

…those poor criminals who work hard both night and day. Wait, what?
Basic math… it’s not beneficial for he, a freelancer who can earn so much without guild affiliation to tether himself to such a tree. Don’t be fooled, contracts are just a form of slavery!
