the word for word recounting of the movie is annoying.
Before Sam could respond, Bumblebee and Barricade charged at each other, their massive metal bodies colliding with a sound like crashing thunder. The sheer force of their impact sent shockwaves through the ground, knocking Sam and Mikaela back a few steps. Bumblebee, quick and nimble despite his size, dodged a powerful punch from Barricade and countered with a swift uppercut that sent sparks flying from Barricade's chest.

I'm kind of getting a little irritated with the stupid. honestly at the beginning of the story I didn't really see all that much of it. then after he met the Fallen Angel and his family he just got steadily worse. I understand that it's a narrative choice but it's really annoying. it also makes it hard to empathize with the main character.
