This is a critical review. I've read up to chapter 20 to 24, not sure what the current number is. First off, I love the artwork. It's absolutely gorgeous. Stunning. The characters are all beautiful, too. But there are some things about the story that's really awful. Sean keeps getting sexually assaulted by the other main character. And Sean just goes with it! What the heck. That's horrible. It's not sexy to force another person into sexual acts. No matter how beautiful the artwork is. The story tries to make it romantic. It's not. Stop it. This is my biggest beef with the story.
On another note, Sean is often drawn with feminine curves. Or in postions that are more difficult for men. I'd much rather read a BL comic that didn't try to make one of the men look like a girl.
The world building is very minimal. I suspect I'm supposed to understand and accept that this character who is a leader among his kind, the lupus, is allowed to do whatever he wants with Sean's body. There needs to be more world building to believe everything, yes even the awful assault/rape.
I wish this was better, honestly. This is a critical review because I was drawn into its beauty. I was surprised no one else complained about the assault and rape happening every few chapters.
Consent is sexy, folks.
