Words of a Broken Poet

One day I saw a post,

What is love asks the host,

A thousand deliver an answer,

It's a chemical reaction, says one; nothing fancier,

I disagree, says another,

It's the warm feeling in your heart when you see each other,

Among all these I wonder,

How do you know you're in love?

Asks the Beholder;

This is a question I can answer, I say;

But first, let me ponder,

Hear me, this is my answer : 

You know you're in love,

When,

The mighty sun shines, spreading light upon the heavens and earths,

Yet she steals your gaze,

When,

The moon's soft glow dazzles even nature itself,

But she glows even more.

You know you love her,

When you see get lost in her eyes,

And not lust in your gaze,

When you see her smile for the hundredth time,

Yet not tire.

You surely know you love her still,

And always will,

When she heals your broken soul,

Nurses you back to whole,

When she stands by you in the times of need,

Don't let her go,

Promise me?
