XII: Breathing

Yuu's lead faded while RR and V's last beat ended.

"Thank you everyone. We hope you enjoyed tonight. See you next time!" I told the audience, smiling as I enjoyed our set.

The crowds cheered and were shouting, "More! More! More!" But it was our last song, so we lined up and took our bow.

As soon as I raise my head up, I saw the new guy running towards the exit.

"Emen!" I shouted and jumped to the pit of people down the stage wanting to catch him.

Wait. What is this? I think I fell into deep water.

Panicking, as I don't know how to swim, I gasped for air. I paddled my arms and feet in different directions and as hard as I can. I'm not yet ready to go, I thought to myself so I have to survive this.

But it was hopeless. My arms and legs began to stiffen and my heart was beating so fast as it's getting harder and harder to breathe. My eyes were close to not seeing.

Suddenly, I felt someone grabbed my right hand and pulled me quickly to the open.

There was a bright light I wanted to see so I opened my eyes fully.

It was almost blinding, only to find out that it was the led light attached to the bus' ceiling.

"Thank you." I heard a gentle feminine voice and felt my right hand holding something soft.

Oh shhhhh... I realized it's someone's hand, her hand perhaps, so I immediately tried to sit up.

"Ouch!" I thought I hit my head on something. And I saw the girl lying on top of my legs with her forehead turned a bit red.

Man, I'm sorry! And now she's asleep again. Ugghh!
